implementation roadmap

The AEI RCSL Equity Implementation Model™

A four-stage governance framework designed to stabilize, diagnose, redesign, and embed child health equity within programs and implementation systems. The framework supports equity-centered systems transformation in maternal and early childhood health by addressing structural barriers that drive racial disparities in service access, implementation quality, and long-term outcomes.

Interventions shouldn't just be temporary fixes. They should be permanent legacies.

Regulation Readiness Intensive™- Stabilizing systems before redesign

Clarity

Identifying where inequity enters the system and what the real problem is that’s being solved through program implementation.

Storytelling, Narratives & Participatory Data Strategy

Centering lived experience as actionable data.

AEI guides and structures agencies and maternal & child health initiatives in using narrative synthesis and participatory research methods to inform program design, equity-centered evaluation, and systems strategy.

Approaches may include

  • Narrative data collection frameworks

  • Qualitative synthesis and thematic analysis

  • Story-to-strategy translation

  • Equity-centered evaluation design

  • PhotoVoice methodology design and facilitation

  • Participatory data integration into strategic planning
